Before / After: the Kobido lifting effect

Expert care, where precision meets tradition
Elena, your Kobido practitioner
My path to Kobido began with a search for rigour, harmony and balance. After ten years working in a Milan hospital as a nuclear medicine technologist, I developed a precise understanding of anatomy and a deep respect for meaningful, intentional gestures.
Today, I bring this scientific background to the ancestral Japanese art of Kobido. Trained for 24 months by Master Shogo Mochizuki, I practise Kobido not simply as a facial massage, but as a ritual of deep reconnection.
In my hands, technical mastery meets the softness of touch, revealing the natural beauty of your face.
I am based in Paris, where I welcome French-, English- and Italian-speaking clients in my Paris 17 studio or in the comfort of their own home. I also offer selected Kobido sessions in Milan throughout the year.

The “radiance” effect is visible from the very first session and lasts on average 3 to 7 days. Session after session, Kobido helps smooth the features and soften the appearance of expression lines. For structural, long-lasting results — visibly softened lines, firmer facial contours and more toned skin — I recommend a programme of 5 closely spaced sessions, followed by monthly maintenance. For more details, see the FAQ page.
Kobido is a natural alternative that can, in many cases, delay or complement the use of injections. It works differently: where Botox freezes the muscle to erase the wrinkle, Kobido tones it to redefine the jawline and stimulate the natural production of collagen. It preserves the expressiveness of the face and fits within a gentle, durable approach that respects your physiology.
For more details, see the FAQ page.
No, Kobido is not painful. Some movements may be rhythmic or slightly deeper, especially when working on facial muscles, but the touch remains gentle and respectful throughout. The pressure is light, never forced, and the treatment is adapted to the sensitivity of each face, leaving you with a feeling of comfort, release and deep relaxation.
